Fantom Foundation: Currently in contact with Circle and Tether to explore potential uses for frozen funds.

Odaily News: The Fantom Foundation responded to the Multichain incident on Telegram, saying, "The team is in contact with Circle and Tether to see if there is anything that can be done with the frozen funds. We cannot make any promises and may not be able to do anything at all. We are also trying to better understand what happened and the situation with Multichain."
Earlier, Fantom Foundation tweeted that the team immediately contacted stablecoin issuers, including Circle (USDC), Tether (USDT), and TrueUSD (TUSD), to freeze the assets in the Multichain wallet.
Currently, approximately over 60 million USDC and over 2 million USDT have been frozen. The Fantom Foundation is actively reaching out to various contacts and sources to fully understand the details of the Multichain incident. In addition, a group composed of current Multichain employees has been formed to better understand the situation and provide support.
