Odaily News reports that Starknet Alpha v0.12 has been launched on the Goerli testnet. The new version utilizes the Rust blockifier and LambdaClass's Cairo VM to accelerate the processing time of the sorter for transactions. It supports Cairo Compiler v2.0.0 and replaces the PENDING state with ACCEPTED_ON_L2, indicating that once a transaction is in this state, it will be included in a block. Additionally, experimental system calls have been added.
According to the deployment schedule announced by the Starknet governance facilitator, the voting for Starknet v0.12.0 will take place from July 5th to July 10th, and based on the voting results, the deployment of Starknet v0.12.0 on the mainnet will occur on July 12th.
