As the official main sponsor of Alpha Arena S03, MEXC Ventures announced the successful conclusion of the Alpha Arena Bali Finals. The finals took place on August 21 during Coinfest Asia 2026, with Japan's Arumando claiming the championship, while Filipino contestant Murasaki Trades and South Korean contestant Coin6097 secured second and third place, respectively. Following the finals, MEXC CEO Vugar presented awards to the three winning contestants.
The finals brought together 20 traders competing in a real-time DEMO trading environment for a total prize pool of $100,000. This also marked the official conclusion of Alpha Arena's inaugural Asia-Pacific tournament—participants advanced from regional online qualifiers and ultimately gathered in Bali for the live showdown.
Suspense Lasted Until the Very End
The Bali finals adopted a format combining group stages with a final elimination round, conducted in a real-time DEMO trading environment. Timed challenges, heart-rate monitoring, and randomly drawn mystery cards continuously heightened the uncertainty of the competition. With the live leaderboard constantly shifting, participants also needed to adjust their trading strategies in real time based on the evolving situation.
During the finals, contestant rankings changed multiple times. The most dramatic reversal occurred in the final 30 seconds of the competition: a trader who had led the rankings for most of the event was overtaken by a rival, and the championship was not decided until the very last moment.
Bali Finals Attract Over 10,000 Viewers
More than 200 spectators gathered at Hall 1, where live commentary and real-time leaderboards allowed the audience to follow every stage of the DEMO competition more intuitively. The online livestream and on-site audience combined to attract over 10,000 people following the event.
Following the awards ceremony, nearly 300 industry participants gathered at the Coinfest Sunset Deck for the champions' celebration party. Contestants and numerous community members celebrated the successful conclusion of the Bali Finals together and engaged in post-event networking.
