Iranian People: U.S. Words and Actions Can't Be Trusted, Must Remain Highly Vigilant
Odaily Planet Daily News In response to the U.S. strikes on southern Iran, Iranian people have stated that U.S. words and actions are not trustworthy and expressed doubt over whether an agreement between the U.S. and Iran can be reached. One Iranian citizen said: "The Iran nuclear deal is one example—the U.S. turned its back on everything. This opening of fire is the same. The contradictory statements from the U.S. side clearly show that none of their words come with any guarantee. However, I don't think the war will continue because the U.S. has paid a heavy price and they are also very afraid. We control the Strait of Hormuz, which for the U.S. could be worse than us having a hundred nuclear bombs. We are very familiar with those U.S. statements—they are all untrustworthy, and we must be on high alert. People have to be careful. Because there is a possibility that something like the U.S. withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal could happen again. In other words, the U.S.-Iran agreement could be torn up." (CCTV)
