U.S. Interior Secretary Burgum: Trump’s order to take action against vessels laying mines is not an escalation
Odaily Planet Daily News: U.S. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum stated that President Trump's order to take action against vessels laying mines is not an escalation.
It is reported that Iran has formulated a set of target lists for responding to possible military actions by the U.S. and its allies, based on the principles of "proportionate response" and "offensive deterrence." The lists contain various response plans tailored to different scenarios. For example, if Iran's power plants are attacked, Iran will strike power plants in Israel and other U.S. allies in the region with missiles and drones. If Iran's oil and gas facilities are attacked, it will retaliate against key oil and gas facilities of Israel and U.S. allies, aiming to reduce global daily oil production by 25 million barrels within a year. If Iran's military or political figures are assassinated, Iran will target the information technology and artificial intelligence centers of the relevant countries.
If Iran's territorial sovereignty is violated (such as the occupation of islands or ports), it will launch large-scale joint attacks combining ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones against the aircraft carriers and attack helicopters of the offending nations. If a maritime blockade against Iran continues or escalates, it will block the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and, if necessary, completely seal off the Strait of Hormuz through large-scale mining, cutting off all oil export pipelines. If the U.S. launches a ground invasion of Iran using bases in the region, Iran will coordinate ground warfare with the resistance axis forces and local armed forces in the host countries, relying on the local population to capture U.S. soldiers. Additionally, Iran may carry out surprise attacks against U.S. interests outside the region.
