明年投入4.52万亿韩元，韩国两部门推进物理AI、半导体与数据中心三大项目

The Korea Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Science and ICT will invest 4.5217 trillion KRW next year to advance three major projects: Physical AI, semiconductors, and data centers. Among this, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's budget is 3.7261 trillion KRW, while the Ministry of Science and ICT's budget is 795.6 billion KRW.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy will invest 762.8 billion KRW to drive AI transformation in the manufacturing sector, covering on-site manufacturing data collection, development of AI foundation models, deployment of domestically produced humanoid robots, and ecosystem building for key components and materials equipment. An additional 1.5541 trillion KRW will be allocated to support semiconductors, with 43 billion KRW dedicated to AI data center technology and talent development.

The Ministry of Science and ICT will invest 133.7 billion KRW in Physical AI to develop a general-purpose Physical AI foundation model and conduct logistics pilot projects with Korea Post. For semiconductors and data centers, 135 billion KRW and 222.9 billion KRW will be invested respectively, including the construction of a 10 MW AI data center test platform. (ZDNet)
