The Odaily Planet Daily reports that South Korea's top financial regulator has stated it will accelerate discussions on cryptocurrency legislation and plans to introduce a Korean version of the "Digital Assets Basic Act" this autumn. The bill is expected to establish regulatory rules covering areas such as stablecoin issuance, virtual asset service provider (VASP) licensing, and Bitcoin ETFs.
