Fell to a one-month low, with open interest denominated in Bitcoin down about 11% from before the rally

Odaily Planet Daily News: Santiment posted on the X platform that Bitcoin's price has risen about 22% recently, with leveraged positions also being unwound. Open interest denominated in Bitcoin fell from approximately 353,500 BTC before the rally to around 312,600 BTC on August 23, a decline of about 11%, marking the lowest level in at least a month. Between August 12 and 18, the average price of Bitcoin was approximately $63,500, then rose to about $77,700 on August 23. In U.S. dollar terms, open interest grew by roughly 8% during the same period, with the price increase outpacing the pace of position unwinding.
