The Odaily Planet Daily reports that, according to sources familiar with the matter, the open-source AI platform Hugging Face is exploring the possibility of a sale, with a potential transaction valuation of $13 billion or higher. The company is currently working with a bank to assess interest from potential buyers.

When Hugging Face raised funds in 2023, it was valued at approximately $4.5 billion, with investments from Salesforce, Google, and Nvidia, among others. If this transaction proceeds at a $13 billion valuation, its valuation would nearly triple compared to 2023. Hugging Face has not yet responded to this matter. (Business Insider)
