Bitcoin Spot ETFs Saw Total Net Inflow of $189 Million Yesterday, Hashdex DEFI Announces Delisting
According to Odaily, based on SoSoValue data, yesterday (August 18, Eastern Time) Bitcoin spot ETFs saw a total net inflow of $189 million.
The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest single-day net inflow yesterday was BlackRock's ETF IBIT, with a net inflow of $144 million. IBIT's historical total net inflow currently stands at $61.4 billion.
Next was Fidelity's ETF FBTC, with a single-day net inflow of $23.92 million, bringing FBTC's historical total net inflow to $10.02 billion.
The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest single-day net outflow yesterday was VanEck's ETF HODL, recording a net outflow of $16.92 million. HODL's historical total net inflow currently stands at $1.07 billion.
Additionally, Hashdex's Bitcoin spot ETF DEFI has initiated closure and liquidation procedures due to factors such as asset size, trading liquidity, and operating costs. It ended trading on NYSE Arca on August 17 and will subsequently be delisted. The fund will liquidate its remaining Bitcoin holdings starting August 18 and is expected to pay cash liquidation proceeds to holders around August 24. According to Bloomberg data, as of July 30, DEFI's assets under management were approximately $7.28 million.
As of press time, the total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs stands at $79.3 billion, with the ETF net asset ratio (market value relative to Bitcoin's total market cap) reaching 6.12%, and the historical cumulative net inflow has reached $52.28 billion.
