AI芯片需求点燃增长动能,经济学家进一步上修韩国经济增长预期
The Odaily Planet Daily reports that, according to a institutional survey, due to strong global demand for semiconductors, South Korea's economic growth expectations for this year are set to accelerate further. The survey shows that the economists surveyed expect the South Korean economy to grow by 3.3% in 2026, significantly higher than the 2.8% forecast in the July survey. Respondents also slightly raised their growth expectations for the coming years, projecting the South Korean economy to grow by 2.3% in 2027 and 2.1% in 2028. As the artificial intelligence boom drives economic growth, economists and policymakers are continuously adjusting their forecasts to keep pace with actual growth. The survey's 2026 growth forecast is higher than that of the South Korean government. (Jinshi)
