In forex, the U.S. dollar fell 0.01% intraday against the offshore Chinese yuan (USD/CNH), with the current exchange rate at 6.68363. The U.S. dollar rose 0.01% intraday against the Japanese yen (USD/JPY), with the current exchange rate at 157.909.
In global stock indices, the Europe 50 index (EUSTX50) fell 0.82% intraday, to 6,159.27 points; the UK FTSE 100 index (UK100) fell 0.12% intraday, to 10,855.5 points; the Germany DAX40 index (GER40) fell 0.21% intraday, to 25,542.5 points.
In commodities, WTI crude oil fell 1.21% intraday, to $98.87 per barrel. Brent crude oil fell 0.15% intraday, to $109.65 per barrel.
