Odaily News: Vitalik posted on X platform, stating that Minimax H3 is the first open video model he has seen that outperforms HunyuanVideo 1.5, and Tencent Hunyuan's ability to maintain its lead over the long term is itself an impressive achievement. He noted that previously, frontier models for images and video seemed more closed compared to frontier LLMs for text, and H3 represents a strong step back toward openness. He also mentioned that the related content was generated on his AMD laptop in about 30 minutes.
