This move is seen as an indication that bipartisan consensus has not yet been reached on the CLARITY Act, which outlines a regulatory framework for the crypto industry.

Previously, the market had anticipated that the U.S. Congress would push forward progress on the CLARITY Act, providing a clearer legal framework for issues such as digital asset market structure and regulatory authority division. However, the latest developments show that divisions remain within the Senate.
