⚖️Hodlpac recruits Winklevoss Twins and Brian Armstrong to try to influence crypto policy in Washington

🤔China takes another step towards issuing digital currency

China’s central bank: The People’s Bank of China (PBoC) is purportedly taking another step forward in issuing its own digital currency.

The Global Times on Tuesday quoted "industry insiders" as saying, the People’s Bank of China appears to have completed the development of the basic functions of the digital currency in cooperation with private companies.

According to reports, the People’s Bank of China is currently drafting relevant laws to promote the circulation of the digital yuan.

An industry insider who asked not to be named told the Global Times that Alipay's recent patents all revolve around the basic functions of digital currency, including circulation, payment and issuance.
