Iran Economic Ministry Establishes Economic War Command Center
Odaily News: Iran's Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance has established an "Economic War Command Center" aimed at centrally analyzing and assessing economic issues caused by the war, while coordinating with relevant departments to accelerate the formulation and implementation of solutions.
Iran's Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Morteza Zamani, stated that the agency is set up within the ministry and will initially focus on issues under the ministry's purview, including the impact of the war on business operations, trade, financing, and other economic sectors, in order to expedite the follow-up and resolution of related problems. For matters beyond the ministry's authority, they will be handled through cross-departmental coordination. He noted that the agency's main task is to centralize the identification of war-induced issues and economic operational obstacles, propose actionable solutions, and strengthen coordination when multiple departments need to participate jointly.
