Odaily Planet Daily News The Binance Android app has become unavailable on the Google Play Store in some EU countries. Spanish users have confirmed that the Binance app can no longer be found via Google Play search but can still be downloaded through the Android app store Oppo App Market used by Oppo devices.
A check from the Polish region indicates that the Binance app remains available on Google Play, suggesting the situation does not cover all EU markets. Last week, OKX Europe CEO Erald Ghoos stated on X that the app was removed due to licensing requirements under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation.
This development comes weeks after Binance withdrew its MiCA application in Greece, with the framework's transition period having ended on July 1st. Binance subsequently notified some EU users that access to certain services would be restricted, although withdrawals remain available.
