Korean media: SK Hynix plans to build a new headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul

Odaily Planet Daily News: SK Group is pushing forward with the acquisition of the former Le Méridien hotel site in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and plans to build the SK Hynix headquarters building. The report states that the site is approximately 1 km away from Samsung Group's headquarters, "Samsung Town," and SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won is said to have demanded that the building "be built 5 meters higher than Samsung."
