Korean users become the main short-sellers of Changxin Technology? Wallets in China and the US show overall bullish sentiment

2026-07-27 08:10

Odaily Planet Daily News: On the eve of Changxin Technology's listing, attributable wallets of Changxin Technology on Hyperliquid revealed that wallets in the United States, Hong Kong, and Mainland China are generally bullish, while wallets tagged as South Korea have become the main short-selling force in this sample.

Among them, wallets from South Korea hold short positions worth approximately $760,000, with short positions about 38 times the size of their long positions; wallets tagged as Taiwan are also bearish, with a net short position of approximately $329,000.

On the long side:

- US-tagged wallets hold long positions worth $1.6 million and short positions worth $345,000, resulting in a net long position of approximately $1.255 million;

- Hong Kong-tagged wallets hold long positions worth $1.3 million and short positions worth $431,000, resulting in a net long position of approximately $869,000;

- Mainland China-tagged wallets hold only long positions worth $83,000 and short positions worth $16,000, resulting in a net long position of approximately $67,000.

Assuming that the $760,000 short position in South Korea-tagged wallets was all opened at a uniform price of $6.48 before trading began, with no subsequent adjustments and all using 1x leverage, the theoretical unrealized loss on the short position would be approximately $48,500, with a loss rate of about 6.4%.
