Holding nearly 890,000 ETH, crypto assets valued at approximately $1.4 billion under GAAP, Sharplink's Q2 revenue rose to $11.5 million but net loss reached $394 million

Odaily Planet Daily News: Sharplink announced its financial and operational results for the second quarter and first half of the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. The company's second-quarter revenue reached $11.5 million, compared to $0.7 million in the same period last year; net loss was $394 million, compared to a loss of $103 million in the same period last year. This includes $321 million in non-cash unrealized losses and $76.1 million in impairment charges related to LsETH/weETH. The company stated that these losses primarily stem from changes in accounting valuation and did not affect its actual ETH holdings.

As of June 30, Sharplink held approximately 887,000 ETH, with crypto assets valued at approximately $1.4 billion under U.S. GAAP. As of August 3, the company's ETH holdings increased to approximately 889,000. During the same period, the company held $56.2 million in cash and cash equivalents, up from $28.5 million at the end of 2025.

Recently, Sharplink completed a $75 million registered direct offering and purchased approximately 10,000 ETH at approximately $1,611 per ETH. Concurrently, the company repurchased approximately 2.1 million shares of common stock at an average price of approximately $4.70 per share, totaling approximately $10 million. Since August 2025, the company has cumulatively repurchased approximately 4.07 million shares at a total cost of approximately $41.7 million.

In addition, Sharplink has been added to the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indices and, in partnership with Galaxy, launched the Galaxy Sharplink Onchain Yield Fund. The fund plans to deploy $125 million, of which Sharplink has committed $100 million.
