Odaily Planet Daily News: Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Gharibabadi issued a statement stating that the security of the Persian Gulf region should be jointly maintained by regional countries, and Iran advocates resolving regional security issues without interference from external forces. Gharibabadi pointed out that Iran has submitted and recorded to the UN Security Council evidence of attacks originating from the territories of other countries against Iran, including a small number of direct attacks. He also stated that based on currently available information, regional countries are deeply aware that the expansion of conflict and the continuation of military operations will pose a serious threat to their own security.
