Odaily Planet Daily News: According to Solv Protocol monitoring, a security incident occurred on the BTC+ contract on BNB Smart Chain on July 13th. An investigation revealed that the attacker compromised the deployer's private key, upgraded the BTC+ minting proxy contract on BSC, and minted unauthorized BTC+ tokens. The team completed an emergency response within three hours, isolated the malicious contract, and froze, burned, or isolated all unauthorized BTC+. All underlying BTC assets are secure. As a precautionary measure, BTC+ subscription and redemption have been suspended and are expected to resume within two weeks. BTC+ has never established an official liquidity pool on any DEX. Users should only obtain and hold BTC+ through official Solv channels.
