Gate Stock officially launches Korean stock trading, supporting USDT direct investment in the Korean capital market
Odaily news According to the official announcement, Gate Stock has officially launched a Korean stock trading service. Users can now directly use USDT to trade stocks listed on the Korea Exchange (KRX), allowing them to conveniently participate in the Korean capital market without needing to open a traditional Korean brokerage account or exchange Korean won themselves. Korean stocks will share a unified stock account system with US stocks and Hong Kong stocks, supporting functions such as buying/selling, position management, and profit/loss inquiries, achieving one-stop allocation and management of digital assets and global securities assets.
For its first phase, the Gate Korean stock business will list the top 1,000 listed stocks on the Korea Exchange (KRX) by market capitalization, covering the KOSPI main board and the KOSDAQ market. The initial batch of trading targets includes representative listed companies in the Korean market such as Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, NAVER, Hyundai Motor, and Celltrion. Additionally, Gate will launch a Korean stock trading event from 16:00 on June 22 to 16:00 on June 30 (UTC+8), allowing users to invest in popular stocks of the Korean market and share in stock rewards from Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Hyundai Motor valued at over $200,000.
With the official launch of Korean stocks, the Gate Stock section has formed a global stock product system covering three core markets: US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, and Korean stocks. Relying on a unified account architecture, users can directly participate in global stock investments using USDT, and it supports fractional share trading starting from as low as 0.01 shares. Furthermore, the Gate Stock product has been fully integrated into the platform's VIP tier system. Users only need to hold 2,000 USDT to advance to VIP status, gaining access to the stock trading's exclusive fee rate as low as 0.023% and 1V1 account manager service, further enhancing the professional investment experience.
