Iran Deputy Foreign Minister: The US must ensure that Israel complies with the memorandum of understanding
According to Odaily Planet Daily, on the 19th local time, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Khatibzadeh stated in an interview that the United States must ensure that Israel adheres to the terms of the memorandum of understanding reached between the US and Iran. Khatibzadeh said that Iran is ready to continue advancing diplomatic processes, "and if the other side shows the same seriousness, we are also prepared to move forward step by step." Regarding the Strait of Hormuz issue, Khatibzadeh stated that Iran will continue to provide navigation services in coordination with Oman and in accordance with the rules of international law. During the 60-day period stipulated in the memorandum of understanding, Iran will not collect transit fees, but will introduce a new channel management mechanism afterward, which will be submitted to regional countries.
