According to the official announcement, Gate has released its latest proof of reserves. As of August 19, 2026, Gate's total reserves have increased to $8.215 billion, with an overall reserve coverage ratio of 127%, consistently exceeding the industry safety benchmark of 100%. The ample excess reserves further enhance the platform's ability to withstand market volatility and potential liquidity risks, reflecting robust asset management and risk control standards.
Core asset reserves have continued to grow. BTC user assets increased from 21,557 BTC in the previous period to 22,436 BTC, while the corresponding platform-held reserves grew from 26,775 BTC to 27,550 BTC, representing an excess reserve ratio of 22.79%. ETH user assets rose from 374,348 ETH to 375,429 ETH, with corresponding platform reserves increasing from 456,798 ETH to 458,203 ETH, reflecting an excess reserve ratio of 22.05%.
In terms of stablecoins, the total user assets in USDT, USDC, USD1, and GUSD increased from $1.336 billion in the previous period to $1.578 billion, while the corresponding platform reserves grew from $1.59 billion to $1.761 billion. The combined reserve ratio stands at 111.63%, with an excess reserve ratio of 11.63%.
Additionally, reserve ratios for major assets such as GT and XRP also significantly exceed the 100% reserve standard, reaching 131.15% and 116.09%, respectively.
