Over the past weekend, Memes on BNB Chain began revolving around US stocks.
MarsCoin corresponds to SpaceX, GPU to Nvidia. They are still Memes, but the usual BNB and USDT trading pairs have been swapped for stock tokens like SPCXB and NVDAB.
What truly pushed stock Memes into the community spotlight was CZ once again mentioning Meme-related topics on X.
On the afternoon of July 30, MarsCoin was listed on Binance Alpha. A few hours later, CZ posted on X, stating that he supports all Meme coins and may buy or sell one or two Meme coins in the coming weeks to test some new features.

CZ did not mention MarsCoin, nor did he single out stock Memes. But the two events coinciding on the same day was enough to spark market speculation: could MarsCoin just be the beginning? Which project might Binance pick from this sector next?
Shortly after, on August 1, Binance Wallet launched a dedicated "Stock Meme" section, featuring related tokens on BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain in one place. With this news, the attention of "P-community" shifted from chasing MarsCoin to hunting for the next stock Meme coin that could be selected by Binance Alpha, or even the main Binance platform.
What Exactly Are "Stock Meme" Coins?
The name "Stock Meme" easily evokes memories of Meme Stocks like GameStop and AMC in the US stock market, but the two are not the same. GameStop and AMC are actual publicly listed stocks. The "Stock Meme" section launched by Binance Wallet, however, still consists of Meme coins issued on-chain, bearing no equity or business relationship with companies like SpaceX or Nvidia.
Their main difference from regular Memes lies in the trading pairs. Previously, Memes issued on BNB Chain typically used BNB or USDT as the liquidity pool; stock Memes have replaced these with bStocks US stock tokens. To purchase these Memes, users must first enter the corresponding stock token trading pool.
Therefore, stock Memes can be understood as a batch of Memes issued around US-listed companies, their founders, and product symbols, using stock tokens as the trading base or as holding rewards. Stocks provide the theme and liquidity assets, but what truly determines token price movements remains the capital and sentiment of the Meme market.
Overview of Hot Projects in the "Stock Meme" Section
In the newly added "Stock Meme" section on Binance Wallet, there are currently 7 Meme coins with a market cap above $1 million, and only 4 Meme coins above $5 million, which are:
MarsCoin, Market Cap Temporarily at $30 Million
MarsCoin remains the leader of the stock Meme sector and is the only token among these four projects that has already entered Binance Alpha. Its market cap once exceeded $50 million and is currently reported at $30 million.
The narrative behind it is not something pieced together on the fly. In 2021, while discussing a Mars currency with Elon Musk, CZ wrote, "Looks like we will have a MarsCoin. In foresight, it is inevitable." Musk later responded that MarsCoin would definitely exist in the future. Now, this MarsCoin on BNB Chain has directly incorporated CZ's "In foresight, it is inevitable" into its project description, effectively reviving a five-year-old meme.
MarsCoin was issued by Flap and uses SpaceX's stock token SPCXB as its trading pair. Users pay a 3% fee for both buying and selling MarsCoin; a portion of this fee is converted into SPCXB and distributed to users who meet holding requirements. MarsCoin thus taps into three layers of narrative: the outer layer is Mars, Musk, and SpaceX; the middle layer is earning SPCXB by holding; and the innermost layer is the traffic from Binance Alpha and the anticipation of a future listing on the main Binance exchange.
Biyou, Market Cap Temporarily at $11 Million
Biyou's full name translates to "Why run around, Binance has it all," issued by Flap and using the S&P 500 ETF stock token SPYB as its trading pair. Its market cap once reached $16 million and is currently reported at $11 million.
Binance's Chinese official channels previously used the tagline "Opportunities across global markets — why run around, Binance has it all" when promoting traditional financial ETF products. The name "Biyou" (literally "has it all") is both an abbreviation of that full sentence and a fitting reference to Binance's ever-expanding asset ecosystem.
Previously, Binance primarily offered cryptocurrency trading; now, stock tokens, ETFs, RWAs, and on-chain assets are also entering its wallet and trading entry points. "Binance has it all" emerging at this moment perfectly matches users' latest impression of Binance: whether you want to trade crypto, stocks, or Memes, you can find the corresponding product within the same ecosystem.
Biyou's choice of SPYB as its trading pair makes this slogan even more complete. MarsCoin corresponds to SpaceX, GPU to Nvidia, but Biyou does not bet on any single company — it directly ties itself to the S&P 500. Rather than telling a story of a single stock rising, it represents Binance's ambition to cover the entire market.
After the "Stock Meme" section launched, this slogan gained another round of organic dissemination. With a batch of US stock and ETF-related Memes suddenly appearing in the wallet, "Why run around, Binance has it all" almost became the most natural summary of this update.
GPU, Market Cap Temporarily at $11 Million
GPU comes from Four.meme, using Nvidia's stock token NVDAB as its trading asset, with its market cap peaking above $35 million and currently reported at $11 million.
After MarsCoin sparked community buzz, Four.meme quickly followed up by launching its Stock Meme feature. When issuing tokens, projects can directly select bStocks US stock tokens as the liquidity pool, with the first batch of assets being NVDAb corresponding to Nvidia, and more US stock underlying assets to be added later. GPU subsequently became the first stock Meme coin to gain traction after this feature went live.
Over the past few years, Nvidia's stock price surge, AI model training, and tech companies expanding data centers have all converged on the same hardware demand: GPUs. This Meme coin simply took those three letters as its token name, making it immediately obvious to users what it represents.
NVDA is the stock ticker, NVDAB is the on-chain stock token, and GPU is the term everyday users most associate with AI computing power. With GPU and NVDAB forming a trading pool, every Meme trade also generates on-chain demand for NVDAB. Capital bullish on AI, Nvidia, and computing power expansion can either buy NVDAB directly or opt for the more volatile GPU.
GPU's explosive short-term market cap growth also spread the stock Meme trend on BNB Chain from the token launch platform Flap to Four.meme. Stock Memes are thus no longer just a niche mechanic on Flap, but have rapidly become a new battleground among launch platforms.
JACKET, Market Cap Temporarily at $6 Million
Another high-market-cap stock Meme issued on Four.meme is JACKET, full name REAL WORLD APPAREL, using NVDAB as its trading pair. Its market cap once touched $10 million and is currently reported at $6 million.
The project's image is a black leather jacket, which most readily brings to mind Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. Over the past few years, Huang has frequently appeared in black leather jackets at product launches and developer conferences, gradually binding the leather jacket to Nvidia, GPUs, and the AI boom, making it one of the most recognizable personal symbols in the tech industry.
Although JACKET and GPU share the NVDAB theme, they take two different routes. GPU bets on AI computing power and Nvidia's products, while JACKET bets on Jensen Huang's personal image and internet culture.
