Deribit and SignalPlus launch derivatives trading challenge

Digital asset derivatives exchange Deribit and crypto derivatives software and infrastructure solutions provider SignalPlus today announced a new edition of their trading competition , to be held from November 17 to December 22. This SPACE-themed competition features a prize pool of up to $450,000 USDC and offers numerous daily prizes for traders of all levels, with opportunities to win a Unitree R1 humanoid robot, a round-the-world trip, or even a Bayliner yacht.

Traders from around the world can participate in the 2025 Deribit x SignalPlus Trading Competition, showcasing their trading prowess in the crypto options and futures markets on the SignalPlus platform. This SPACE-themed event offers participants diverse challenge paths: individual challenges, team-based leaderboard races, or completing tasks to earn weekly rewards.

Participants will "extend to infinity" through multiple tasks: trading volume challenges, team rankings, referral draws, and more.

Event Highlights

Massive prizes and referral rewards

Users can compete for a portion of a $450,000 USDC prize pool, plus multiple other rewards including DJI drones, LEGO Millennium Falcons, Apple Vision Pro, and even a $2,500 global travel fund. Additional weekly rewards, such as a Unitree Go2 robot dog, will be available; top-ranked traders and inviters will have the chance to win the grand prize—a Unitree R1 humanoid robot and a $30,000 Bayliner deck yacht.

Recharge task

Registered users who maintain a balance in their Deribit account for 7 consecutive days are eligible to participate in the weekly rewards pool. The higher the deposit, the greater the potential reward. Rewards, such as a MacBook, will be drawn weekly from eligible users.

Leaderboard Rewards

Participants with weekly trading volumes reaching $20 million can earn rewards such as an iPhone 17 or Starlink Roam. The "Individual Leaderboard" offers additional rewards to users ranked in odd numbers (e.g., 1st, 3rd, 5th). Teams can also participate in the "Star Alliance" competition, with its own weekly prize pool.

Daily Rewards

In the "Individual Sprint," participants earn a "bonus" of up to $350 USDC for completing at least one transaction each day. In the "Team Odyssey," qualified teams can enter a daily draw for an Alpine skiing trip; at the end of the competition, teams with a trading volume of $100 million will compete for the grand prize of a round-the-world trip.

Double reward opportunities

Participating in designated trading pairs and completing "trading pair strategy tasks" (such as predicting BTC price movements) can double your daily rewards, up to a maximum of $1,050 USDC per day.

Perpetual Battleground Competition

Traders can enter the live arena to compete for prizes of up to $30,000 USDC. This tournament uses a "loss-covered, profit-retained" mechanism: participants can retain their profits, while losses are covered by the tournament. The final survivor will be awarded the title of "King of Sustainability."
