On October 21, Pharos Network, a programmable open finance L1 platform, officially launched on the AtlanticOcean Testnet , marking a major step forward in the scale, memory, and speed of its blockchain infrastructure, and expanding its ecosystem from a regional pilot to a global interconnected network.

Just as the Atlantic Ocean once connected continents through trade, the Pharos AtlanticOcean testnet will serve as a bridge for global on-chain liquidity. It enables institutions, developers, and partners to test cross-border asset flows of RWA assets, laying the foundation for the expansion of the global ecosystem before the launch of the Pharos mainnet.

Since its launch in May, the Pharos testnet has processed nearly 3 billion transactions and produced 23 million blocks with an average block time of 0.5 seconds. The testnet deploys a global validator network, is fully compatible with Ethereum's Dencun SPEC, and features reliable block replay, parallel execution, enhanced caching, and low-memory node releases. Collaborations with companies such as Morpho Labs, Bitverse, and Euclid, as well as integrations with OKX Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Hemera Explorer, and Goldsky, further validate the network's readiness for large-scale, real-world testing.

Building on these achievements, AtlanticOcean has launched several major upgrades: a PoS token economic model consistent with the mainnet (total supply of 1 billion); a user-friendly staking and validator voting mechanism; a modular architecture that decouples the consensus, execution, node, and storage layers; channel-based consensus enhancements; hybrid parallel execution using DAG and Block-STM V1 models; cache-friendly storage through PharosDB; and an expanded developer toolset for more composable and complex testing scenarios.

During this period, Pharos will invite high-performing community validators to join AtlanticOcean and the future mainnet. Subsequently, Pharos will continue to scale its network and advance mainnet preparations, aiming for a planned launch in Q1 2026. This will mark a significant milestone in Pharos' journey towards global, on-chain real-world asset financing.
