Camp collaborates with Minto’s IP characters Mimi & Neko to complete a co-creation activity on the blockchain
NEW YORK, USA, September 10, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ – Camp Network, a decentralized platform dedicated to building the future of IP and AI infrastructure, recently completed a five-week IP co-creation initiative in partnership with Minto Inc., one of Japan's largest IP creators. The initiative invited creators from around the world to create reimagined works based on Minto's iconic characters, Mimi & Neko. Thousands of original works were subsequently officially licensed and monetized through Camp's on-chain licensing engine, REMASTER. This achievement demonstrates the significant efficiency gains blockchain offers over traditional methods in the licensing and monetization of intellectual property.
The traditional intellectual property licensing system is characterized by lengthy and highly fragmented processes. Licensing a book typically takes 6-12 months; music royalties often arrive nine months after a streaming service goes live; and film and television licensing can be delayed for over a year. Complex contracts, ambiguous ownership, and delayed revenue payments make it nearly impossible for small creators to enter this market. In contrast, Camp's collaboration with Minto demonstrates that creators can complete IP co-creation, on-chain licensing, and monetization in just weeks.
James Chi, co-founder and co-CEO of Camp Network, said:
"This event with Minto marks a turning point in how IP operates in the digital age. For decades, creators and fans have been excluded from the licensing process because it was too slow, too expensive, and overly reliant on intermediaries. With Camp, we are proving that IP can truly be on-chain, with traceability, licensing, and royalty distribution mechanisms embedded at the protocol level."
At this event, creators were invited to recreate Mimi & Neko, an IP that has amassed 5 billion sticker downloads and 60 billion animated GIF views worldwide. Excellent recreated works were officially licensed on-chain and commercialized through REMASTER. Camp's on-chain infrastructure ensures rapid approval, rights traceability, and efficient monetization, significantly improving IP licensing efficiency.
Max Curnin, co-founder of REMASTER, further added:
“The lesson from this event was clear: when rights can be programmatic, creativity is amplified exponentially. REMASTER allows creators and IP holders to collaborate securely at internet speeds, ensuring everyone gets the attribution and revenue they deserve. On-chain licensing removes the bottleneck from distribution. We’re just getting started.”
In addition to its partnership with Minto, Camp is also promoting the implementation of other creative platforms. For example, Camp launched Bitbrand, a digital collectibles platform for iOS. It has become an officially authorized Apple partner. In the future, outstanding creators' works will be directly available on iPhone and Apple Watch, transforming them into highly visible and monetizable digital assets.
Nirav Murthy, co-founder of Camp Network, said:
"This event is not only an experiment, but also a powerful validation of the Camp blockchain's value in the field of intellectual property. We believe this is just the beginning. In the future, more creative platforms will use on-chain mechanisms to help creators truly own, control, and monetize their works at scale."
Another flagship project showcasing the potential of Camp's co-creation efforts is TRaiLHEADS, a virtual band comprised of six animated characters. Camp will make its music, visuals, and storytelling assets available to users, allowing creators and fans worldwide to legally recreate their work on-chain. Fans can participate in missions, remix songs, collect virtual accessories, and release their music directly on-chain. All work will be based on Camp's Proof of Provenance framework and Origin IP licensing mechanism, and distributed through the mAitrix AI agent framework. This is more than just a virtual band; it represents a blueprint for the future of music IP creation, sharing, and ownership on-chain.
This collaboration with Minto follows Camp's mainnet launch and marks a key step forward in its commitment to on-chain intellectual property rights verification and programmatic licensing. With the addition of more prominent IPs and high-energy creative events, Camp will continue to advance its mission of "making content composable infrastructure," empowering creators, fans, and developers to jointly build the future of ownership.
About Camp Network
Camp Network is the first Autonomous IP Layer for IP and AI. As a Layer-1 blockchain, Camp innovatively introduces a Proof of Provenance protocol that embeds IP registration, licensing, and royalty distribution directly into the execution layer and optimizes it to support AI-driven workflows. Users can register and confirm ownership of any IP on-chain, deploy and train AI agents, and tokenize them, supporting a broader ecosystem.
About REMASTER
REMASTER is an on-chain platform that accelerates IP licensing, streamlining rights management, negotiation, and royalty payment processes through smart contracts. As a core partner in Camp and Minto's collaboration, REMASTER helps creators more easily manage and monetize their content, providing transparent and immediate revenue opportunities. REMASTER is setting a new standard for digital IP monetization, transforming complex licensing workflows into a scalable, transparent experience.
