OpenSea Mobile App

With OS2, we have the opportunity to reimagine everything, including mobile devices.

We decided to build a new mobile app with the following goals: 1) create the most enjoyable trading experience and 2) imagine what trading would be like with the help of native AI.

On-chain transactions are the trend of the future, but they are still too complicated. OpenSea mobile makes it all seamless: all your wallets, blockchains, tokens, and NFTs are concentrated in one platform. There is no need to switch between accounts effortlessly, view part of your portfolio, or worry about which chain to switch to.

Artificial intelligence will provide a top-level architecture that no one has yet mastered. After launching the MCP server to developers, we will use the same infrastructure to build the first version of "OpenSea Intelligence" - using artificial intelligence to enable smarter and faster trading. We are building the first truly AI-native trading experience that can understand your entire portfolio across chains and help you make smarter decisions in real time.

We are also tired of the fragmentation between mobile devices and the web. Unlike traditional wallets, all functions on OpenSea can be seamlessly connected on both platforms.

OpenSea Flagship Series

As the cultural home for web 3, we’re taking steps to help advance the art of building it.

Today, we’re launching the OpenSea Flagship Series, committing over $1 million to acquire historic NFTs and works by emerging artists.

Starting with CryptoPunk #5273 , we will first identify important works and then promote the works of emerging artists. Each collection will be accompanied by detailed information explaining why we think it is worth collecting, thereby providing attention to the creators.

Selections are made by a committee of OS staff and external digital art consultants, with integrity controls detailed in our Learning Center.

Final phase of pre-TGE rewards

In addition to everything we’re shipping, we’ll also start putting millions of tokens and NFTs into a massive prize pool as the final rewards phase before the TGE!

Starting September 15th, 50% of all platform fees (1% for NFTs and 0.85% for tokens) will be used to support the program, and we will also launch the final bounty phase with $1 million in OP and ARB already in the treasury.

When you log into the Rewards Portal next week, you'll receive a starting chest that can be upgraded - the higher the chest level, the bigger your share of the loot at the end of the season. Anyone has a chance to win the grand prize, but will you find a chubby penguin? Or a bored ape?

Level up by:

• Transactions across 22 chains
• Complete daily voyages
• Collect surprise goods

Each treasure chest contains a treasure, level 1 - 12, higher treasure chest level = higher treasure level.

Treasure chests will play a significant role when the OpenSea Foundation shares TGE details.

As a reminder, platform historical activity will be rewarded and receive its own allocation of SEA from the TGE Foundation, which is separate from our rewards program.

Current Voyage participants: Your XP will also be permanently stored in a new treasure chest, ranked 1-12, arriving on September 15th. This chest reflects your efforts over the past three months and, as mentioned above, has been reviewed by the Foundation.

The OpenSea Foundation will share details about the TGE in early October.
