This round of testing has opened test qualifications to a total of 3,000 community users. The qualifications are distributed to different groups such as Gas Hero NFT badge holders, Find Satoshi Lab ambassadors, partners, etc. Gas Hero officials have recently sent a Notification email.
This round of testing is in the form of deletion. All assets during the testing period will be on the Polygon Mumbai test network and will not be transferred to the main network after the public beta is opened. This also means that when the public beta launches, all users will need to start the game journey from scratch.
In order to facilitate players to experience the game smoothly, Gas Hero will provide multiple resource support to all test players. Specific resources include:
4 free heroes (life span is only 2 days), which can be used for early transition;

The first is the login process. Gas Hero uses an email login method similar to STEPN. In the login window, enter the email address that has been qualified for testing. After obtaining the verification code, you can log in to the game. The main interface after the login is completed is as shown below.
Next, we can click on the avatar to make some personalized settings, such as adjusting the language to Chinese, or changing the name of random characters (we changed it to Odailytest).
After completing these settings, we can officially start the game. The first thing we need to do is to configure the lineup using the 4 free heroes provided by the official. Click the Troops button to enter the lineup configuration interface. At this time, we need to check the specific attribute differences of different heroes. It is recommended to put the two free heroes with slightly thicker health in the rightmost column (that is, the front of the real battle). row) to resist damage, and the other two free heroes with slightly higher attack power are placed in the middle row (that is, the middle row in real battles) for output.
Odaily Note: Matching the lineup according to the different attributes of different heroes is one of the core gameplays of Gas Hero. However, due to the small number of samples on the first day of testing, there are certain limitations on the space that can be used. After the configuration is completed, we need to complete seven more levels of Underground Combat (1-7 in the main interface above) to achieve landing and unlock more game content.
Each underground battle will consume 2 points of energy (which can be understood as the physical strength in STEPN, which is restored by 25% every 6 hours). The overall battle is relatively easy. After the battle is won, 1 energy used to upgrade the hero will be dropped. Hero Potion, the difficulty of the last two levels will increase slightly. We only need to use potions to simply upgrade the front row heroes to level 2 or 3 to pass the level stably. Be careful not to upgrade too much, because these free heroes have a short lifespan.
After completing the seven challenges, we can land. It should be noted here that the system will automatically assign the landing location by default, but players can also choose manually. We chose Tokyo because there are many players in the real world, and the subsequent specific locations will be selected by default as Jurisdiction 1 - Guild 1 - Settlement 1.
Landing requires spending 1 base vehicle props provided by the official (given as a gift in this round of testing, but required to be purchased in the official game), and then the Laboratory (used for hero synthesis, skill upgrades, etc.) and Map will be unlocked. Now, we can use the 300 hero fragments, 200 weapon fragments, and 200 pet fragments provided by the official to synthesize some more valuable heroes, weapons and pets.
Before performing the synthesis operation, the system will ask us to generate an on-chain address. Just follow the official process guide step by step. Returning to the synthesis of heroes, weapons and pets, we can understand heroes as shoes in STEPN, which are the main props for us to experience Gas Hero. Weapons and pets are It can be understood as the gems in STEPN, which are auxiliary props that increase the heros abilities.
It is worth mentioning that the heroes synthesized in this way have a lifespan of 20 days, which is enough to cover the entire round of community testing. Therefore, you can now use some of the hero potions you saved earlier to upgrade these heroes and then use them later. Just add these heroes to the lineup through lineup configuration - please note here that the attack range will be prompted when configuring the lineup, and some heroes in the back row will not be able to attack the enemy.
Of course, you can also choose to put Heroes, Weapons and Pets on the Market for sale, but since the GMT airdrop on the first day will not be distributed until 23:00 (you only have The props do not have coins), so for the time being, you can only place orders and cannot conduct real transactions.
Currently, the game operations that players can perform after landing are mainly to engage in some battles in the Settlement scene to obtain the resources needed to synthesize and cultivate various props. As shown in the main interface after landing in the picture above, AI Military Camp will produce Hero Potion, Zoo will produce Pet Fragments, Sports Relics will produce Weapon Fragments... Settlement BOSS will not be opened until tomorrow.
Since Energy is relatively precious at present, and one challenge will consume 5 points of Energy, at this stage it is recommended that players give priority to challenging the AI Barracks (difficulty option is easy #2), and first increase the power of their own Heroes Level, then consider other things.
In addition to the Settlement scene, players can also switch the scene to other levels through the Map, such as City, Jurisdiction, Guild, etc., and experience some higher-level gameplay.
For example, players can experience the Guild Auction House or Arena in the Guild scene, or experience the more advanced Jurisdiction Auction House in the Jurisdiction scene, or even run for Speaker.
However, since this round of testing has just opened, the first round of GMT airdrops have not yet been distributed, and some game content still needs to wait for a few days to cool down, so it is not yet possible to experience these higher-level gameplay.
