KuCoin Labs successfully held the first incubation program "The Astro Selection" Demo Day
KuCoinLabs' first incubation program "The Astro Selection" successfully held an online Demo Day. The eight-week program offers comprehensive guidance from a strong lineup of mentors and a rich industry network. A total of more than 500 applicants have selected 8 projects. The first phase of the incubation program "The Astro Selection" focuses on NFT, Gamefi and Metaverse track.
On Demo Day, each project has 15 minutes to present to more than 50 short-listed venture capitalists and industry leaders. The event is hosted by KuCoin Labs, the research and incubation arm of KuCoin, the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange.
Lou Yu, head of KuCoinLabs, delivered a welcome speech and introduced the special guest, Johnny Lyu, CEO of KuCoin Global. Subsequently, each project of Exverse, Getaverse, Obscuro, OCTO, TripleC, Ubiloan, UFORIKA and Univers Network presented and answered questions from the participants.
During the presentation, KuCoinLabs also held expert discussions on the track. These include Patrick Wu from SkyVision Capital, Toby Gilbert from CoinWeb and Jeff Nowak from Maven Capital. The panel discussion covered the latest trends in the fields of NFT, Gamefi, and Metaverse, as well as the projects incubated in this issue will promote the development of the industry.
The closing speech was given by Maya from RepublicCrypto, Maya thanked all the projects, mentors and KuCoinLabs team for their hard work during this incubation program. She emphasized the importance of supporting targeted innovation on the track to the overall industry.
KuCoin Labs will continue to support the development of all promising projects in the web3 industry, and looks forward to seeing the impact of the first incubation plan on the industry.
