New Project | Gomu: NFT Infrastructure and Liquidity Facilitator with Coinbase Participation
On October 12, Gomu completed a $5 million seed round of financing. Participating parties include Coinbase Ventures, Defiance Capital, Saison Capital, and several angel investors including Carylyne Chan (former CEO of CoinMarket Cap) and Matthew Tan (founder of Etherscan).
Gomu is an NFT infrastructure company that launched this summer. Among the core team, co-founder and CEO Spencer Yang served as the product leader of Coinbase, focusing on the design of derivatives, DEX and Coinbase wallet. He also served as Vice President of Growth, Revenue and Operations at CoinMarket Cap. Co-founder and VP of Product Jeremy Seow, who led the product team at Chainlink, previously served as VP of Product at CoinMarket Cap. They have accumulated years of experience in Web3 products and want to provide accurate NFT industry data and tools for the NFT community, projects and developers.
Currently, Gomu has two products, NFT Hub and Collection.xyz.
NFT Hubis a customizable NFT community. Creators can quickly create their own NFT community with zero technical experience. The community provides a place for NFT holders to discover content, share information, and trade NFTs with each other. The creator can choose to set the community as private or public, and can also set the royalty rate for trading NFT within the community. The activity of the community and the richness of content can improve the level of the community. The higher the level, the more functions are open.
Currently, Gomu is cooperating with Mutant Cartel, an independent community of MAYC NFT holders, to jointly launch the Mutant Hideout community. The MAYC NFT community has more than 8,000 members and an estimated collection market value of $700 million, which also lays a strong foundation for the future development of the Mutant Hideout community.
Gomu's second product isCollection.xyz. Launched on October 10th, Collection.xyz is an NFT liquidity incentive protocol that simplifies the NFT AMM incentive process.It builds on the Sudoswap AMM, introducing LP tokens and corresponding permissionless reward vaults. It makes it very easy for NFT project owners to create liquidity incentives on NFT AMM, and also provides a seamless transaction process for individuals who own NFT and ETH tokens, allowing them to easily earn token rewards.
Specifically, there are two contracts under Collection.xyz: Collectionswap and Collectionstaker:
Collectionswap extends a Sudoswap-like protocol to generate LP tokens to provide liquidity.
Collectionstaker creates a set of RewardPoolETH, which can be used by any NFT collection (such as BAYC, MAYC) to incentivize liquidity pools.
36 hours after launch, Collection.xyz has surpassed $80,000 in Total Value Locked (TVL).
Steps to participate in the Collection.xyz interaction:
1. Select a Vaults deposit.
2. View the parameters of the Valut.
3. Set the starting price of buying + selling, and select the NFT to be deposited. then click"deposit" is fine.
