Space and Time is a Web3-native decentralized database designed to connect on-chain and off-chain data to provide a wide range of enterprise-level use cases for smart contract applications.
On September 27, 2022, Space and Time, a Web3-based data platform, realized trustless automation of business logic through the patent-pending Proof of SQL encryption technology, and received 2,000 from well-known investors led by Microsoft M12 Fund million dollars in strategic funding. Funding will be used to accelerate engineering and product development. More than 90% of the funding will go towards Space and Time's product and customer adoption.
Other investors participating in this round include Framework Ventures, HashKey, Foresight Ventures, SevenX Ventures, Polygon, Blizzard the Avalanche Fund, Stratos, Hash Capital, Coin DCX, and several leading Web3 community and angel investors. Space and Time previously raised $10 million in a seed round led by crypto investment firm Framework Ventures.
Unlocking new use cases for Web3 requires providing commonly used enterprise tools that process data volumes far greater than current on-chain capacity. Space and Time's mission is to make smart contracts more robust by using its novel cryptography to connect smart contracts with enterprise database functionality. Space and Time will allow business logic in centralized systems to be automated and connected directly to smart contracts.
Space and Time will work closely with Chainlink to extend the capabilities of hybrid smart contracts to power a trustless network. The platform will allow blockchain developers to build multi-chain Dapps and quickly generate analysis results in a decentralized, low-cost and secure manner.
