Filecoin uses space-time proof and replication proof to ensure the authenticity of data and the nature of long-term storage of multiple backups. Vivian: There are many distributed storage projects, such as Arweave, Sia, FilSwan and SINSO. Why did they choose Filecoin as the data storage layer? What are the main considerations?

These notaries are being trained now, and the equipment of the notaries has not yet arrived, so the issuance of the quotas that have been applied for before is still going on. There is indeed excess storage capacity now. This is a chicken-and-egg problem. If you don’t have space, how do you store it? Then when you have space, you don’t have enough storage capacity, and others think that your utilization rate is not high. So I think the Filecoin project is still being perfected, and many things are still under planning. I am a technician, so from a developer's point of view, I think some developers' tools are not very perfect, and it is not very easy To integrate with the existing web2.0 developer tools.

For example, if I want to migrate all my data from AWS, there is no good migration tool to do it, and there are relatively few enterprise-level tools. In addition, the search market is not perfect, and we are still working hard. Also, we hope that both SINSO and FilSwan mentioned that this can help us solve some problems. For example, the deal making is actually still very menu. Now we have to make a new deal within 6~18 months, and FilSwan’s outfit is also the same. As the early builder team of FVM, we are now also participating in the design of this aspect. When the Filecoin smart contract rises in August and September, we may provide a very friendly solution to intervene, which will further open up web2 users. Using pathways makes sense for web3.

In this way, Filecoin can justifiably say that we can actually pay once and use it forever. This will be a very big turning point. Development tools are also a problem in all aspects, because from the storage to the line, each team is also working hard to write their own documents.
