Along with the Lunar New Year, there is Polkadot. In this short week, a lot of news happened in the "Kingdom" of Polkadot. First, sort out the progress of Polkadot and Kusama network Auction.
On February 4th, Polkadot launched the ninth parachain slot auction, which is expected to end on the evening of February 10th. After SORA Kusama Parachain won the 24th Parachain Slot Auction, Kusama opened the 25th Parachain Slot Auction on February 26.
Secondly, Polkadot officially announced a proposal for a new incentive reward program called "Polkadot Pioneers Prize", also known as the Pioneer Award. The program aims to drive technological innovation on the Polkadot network, not only by providing high bounties to fund research, but also by simulating how the community can achieve greater agency by channeling on-chain treasury funds in new and creative ways.
