Odaily: Recently, Tesla submitted an annual disclosure filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), officially announcing that CEO Elon Musk's total compensation for 2025 was $158.359 billion (approximately 1.07 trillion yuan), all granted in the form of stock awards. The compensation consists of two parts: a $132.3 billion 2025 long-term performance stock award, plus a $26.06 billion temporary transition award, of which the transition award was subsequently voided. The combined book-value total of the two is $158.359 billion. If this astronomical book figure is converted based on 8,760 hours in a year, it equates to Musk earning $18.08 million per hour, approximately 120 million yuan.
However, it should be made clear that $158.359 billion is not cash that Musk has taken home; it is merely the accounting fair value estimate of Tesla's 2025 CEO performance award plan at the grant date.
At the same time, Tesla explicitly stated in the filing that in fiscal year 2025, Tesla did not meet the market capitalization and operating performance targets corresponding to this incentive plan. Therefore, Musk's actual take-home income for the full year of 2025 was zero—no cash income, and no equity was unlocked. The relevant shares are currently in a locked state. (Bianniu Shi)

Odaily Report: Spencer Applebaum, General Partner and Co-Head of Venture Investments at Multicoin Capital, said that Multicoin Capital manages $2.7 billion in assets, will not follow institutions such as Paradigm in expanding its investment scope into AI and robotics, and will continue to focus on the digital asset sector. Regarding the "crypto + AI" concept, Applebaum said that some investors are looking for problems at the intersection of crypto and AI that do not actually exist. In response to the slowdown in capital deployment, he said that in 2023, most seed-round projects had post-money valuations of about $30 million and raised about $3 million, and that using a $422 million fund to invest in such rounds requires more time. In addition, the largest position of Multicoin Capital's hedge fund is the Hyperliquid-related token HYPE, all of which was purchased through the public market; the firm typically holds publicly traded assets for several years.

Odaily: The market cap of World Liberty Financial's stablecoin USD1 has decreased by over $400 million over the past two weeks, primarily driven by large-scale redemptions on Ethereum and BNB Chain. As of Monday, USD1's market cap stood at approximately $4.02 billion, down about 9.1% from $4.43 billion on October 6.
On-chain data shows that from October 6 to 15, Ethereum recorded cumulative net redemptions of $184.6 million across 63 token burns, while BNB Chain saw cumulative redemptions of $200.43 million across 12 burns. Notably, nearly $200 million of the redemptions on BNB Chain originated from a single unidentified address, with the controlling party and reason for redemption still undetermined.
During the same period, USD1 supply on Solana remained stable at approximately $1.42 billion, failing to offset the supply contraction on other networks. USD1's price held between $0.998 and $1 throughout the period without sustained depegging; its Ethereum supply declined by 11.45%, a steeper drop than that of USDe, USDC, and circulating USDT. Odaily reports that SlowMist has released an analysis report on the DarkSword trojan's backend and iOS attack chain. According to the report, after the relevant exploit code was publicly disclosed in March 2026, DarkSword-PROV2 appeared on GitHub in July, and its attack infrastructure was observed coming online in late September. SlowMist traced the related online infrastructure, linked its management panel to a public GitHub repository, and analyzed the exploit code, delivery chain, and post-compromise exploitation capabilities. The report shows that the attack framework integrates exploit, device and data collection, data exfiltration, and crypto wallet fund consolidation functions. It can target keychains, files, messages, and crypto wallet data, and has the ability to decrypt wallet data and consolidate funds. Although the toolkit claims support for iOS 13 and later, code analysis shows that its actually effective exploitation window is concentrated in iOS 18.6 to 18.7.2 and iOS 26.0 to 26.1. The public exploit components have been integrated into a deployable attack framework. SlowMist advises users to update their iOS systems promptly and avoid clicking untrusted links; opening malicious pages in the Safari browser may also trigger the exploit. If a device has visited a suspicious landing page, users should treat their mnemonic phrase and private key as compromised, use a clean device that has never visited the page to create a new wallet and transfer assets, and check for abnormal transactions and token approvals across chains, revoking unnecessary approvals.
