Odaily News: The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), combining blockchain analysis, human intelligence, and court orders, tracked and seized over $560,000 in cryptocurrency originally intended for Hamas. The investigation involved shared wallets, cross-chain bridges, exchanges, and stablecoin accounts.
Three seizure actions took place in March, June, and October 2025. Investigators discovered that multiple donation addresses linked to Hamas' military wing, the Al Qassam Brigades, used the same gas wallet to pay transaction fees. Through Reactor, they visualized funds flowing from donation wallets to operational wallets and related infrastructure.
In the June 2025 case, funds moved through new addresses, accounts, over-the-counter brokers, and suspected money mule accounts. By October, the network had shifted to using one-time donation wallets and cross-chain bridges. Court orders required Tether to burn USDT at designated addresses and reissue equivalent assets to law enforcement wallets, while Binance was instructed to transfer balances from three accounts. Odaily News, DeFi researcher Ignas posted on X platform stating that the market appears to be showing signs of some on-chain funds rotating from the Robinhood ecosystem to Solana. Over the past 24 hours, tokens related to trading infrastructure in the Solana ecosystem have performed strongly, with RAY up 60%, JUP up 21%, ORCA up 12%, and MET up 13%. Additionally, cross-chain data shows that bridged funds on Solana have increased by approximately $18.8 million, while Robinhood Chain has decreased by approximately $47.8 million.
Ignas believes that although the current bridge volume remains relatively small compared to the overall TVL, some traders may be taking profits on Robinhood ecosystem Meme coins and pivoting to buying trading infrastructure tokens on Solana to bet on a similar market trend.

Odaily News: The attacker behind the Coldcard "Wave 3" exploit continues to move stolen funds. In this phase, the attacker created 293 separate 2-of-2 multisig vaults for each victim's assets. On September 2, the first batch of funds was bridged to Ethereum via THORChain; the latest round of transfers has begun entering the CoinJoin mixing process.
Currently, the Wave 3 attacker is processing the largest holdings in descending order by stolen amount, having already transferred vaults ranked 1 through 11 in sequence. The next 10 vaults yet to be transferred collectively hold 30.81 BTC, while vaults ranked 61 through 293 collectively hold 33.77 BTC.
To date, the attacker has moved approximately 45% of the assets stolen in this exploit, with funds either flowing to Ethereum or entering CoinJoin mixing transactions. This latest transfer activity has also revealed a previously unknown vault: 58 addresses jointly spent funds via a 2-of-2 multisig setup in the same format as Wave 3, with the Wave 3 attacker subsequently routing them to a jump address that funds CoinJoin transactions.
This vault is currently marked with "cause = open," but it is highly likely to belong to Coldcard victims as well, which could bring the total number of vaults involved in Wave 3 to 294 and push the previously disclosed total stolen in the Coldcard exploit to approximately 1,806 BTC. At present, roughly 82% of the stolen BTC remains in addresses initially controlled by the attacker, while approximately 18% has been moved, with fund flows suggesting it may be undergoing laundering.

In the past 15 hours, they deposited 19 million ENA, approximately $3.29 million, into Bybit. Odaily News: According to GMGN data, Solana ecosystem Meme coin ZCAT briefly surpassed $180 million in market cap, hitting a new all-time high. It is currently reported at $137 million, with a 24-hour increase of over 130%.
It is reported that ZCAT is a Meme coin built around the Zcash privacy narrative, featuring an anonymous cat wearing a paper bag over its head. Its core mechanism distributes trading revenue to ZCAT holders in the form of ZEC, creating a "hold Meme coin, earn ZEC" yield narrative. Crypto KOL Ansem has repeatedly posted ZCAT-related content on X.
Odaily reminds users that Meme coin prices are highly volatile, and investors should participate with caution.
Odaily News: Mike Cagney posted on the X platform stating that DeFi is better suited for asset-backed finance (ABF), which can avoid redundant staking, directly improve collateralization, and support self-custody or autonomous venues as well as liquidity staking. Figure has brought ABF on-chain, but the overall market remains in its early stages, with approximately $6 trillion in market value yet to migrate at scale. The five reasons why traditional financial applications have yet to fully move on-chain include poor interface experience, the difficulty of balancing qualified custody with recoverable self-custody, insufficient institutional features such as multi-wallet support and tiered permissions, ongoing regulatory clarification, and the fact that KYC can be addressed through on-chain programmatic screening and wallet-level permissions.
