Binance hacker converts $175 million in stolen altcoins into approximately 2,300 bitcoins
Odaily reports: Tom Robinson, co-founder and chief scientist of Elliptic, stated that the Binance hacker has converted approximately $175 million in stolen altcoins into about 2,300 bitcoins. The related funds were moved across 16 blockchains, more than 20,000 wallets, and at least 65,000 transactions; approximately 88 bitcoins were mixed through Wasabi Wallet.
Robinson said the bitcoin and ether primarily held by the hacker remain untouched. Arkham Intelligence data shows that as of 10 a.m. ET on November 7, addresses associated with the hacker held 18,384.725 bitcoins, but did not show the addition of approximately 2,300 bitcoins. (Bitcoin.com News)
