He Yi: UIDs Do Not Collide; Binance's Local Fiat Trading Platforms Do Not Share an Account System

Odaily reports that He Yi responded to a user's claim that "colliding UIDs led to asset loss," stating that Binance users' UIDs are all independent and unique, and no collision exists.

He Yi explained that when the user transferred funds from Binance's main site to Binance Thailand, they mistakenly entered the UID directly to make the transfer and did not carefully verify it during the secondary confirmation step. After the incident, He Yi and four employees followed up continuously and immediately assisted in freezing the relevant funds. Because the receiving user is inactive and has not yet responded, contact and negotiation are still ongoing.

He Yi reminded users that Binance Turkey, Binance Thailand, Binance US, and other local fiat trading platforms are all independent platforms and do not share an account system. Users should carefully verify addresses and UIDs when transferring funds or withdrawing.
