Hypercall to Launch Anthropic-Linked Pre-IPO Options Market, Trading Expected to Begin Monday
Odaily reports: Hypercall, an on-chain options platform built on Hyperliquid, plans to launch a pre-IPO options market linked to Anthropic, which it describes as the first market of its kind. Trading is expected to begin on Monday and will run 24/7, available only in select non-U.S. jurisdictions and not to U.S. customers; the platform will support call and put options as well as spread strategies. The contracts are synthetic, cash-settled derivatives, meaning traders will not hold actual Anthropic shares or obtain voting rights, and settlement amounts will be calculated based on strike price and expiration reference price. Existing Anthropic-linked perpetual contracts on Hyperliquid can provide options market makers with a hedging channel. Hypercall currently also offers options linked to SpaceX, the S&P 500 index, Bitcoin, and Ethereum; its founder Jake Sylvestre previously disclosed that the platform's September options notional trading volume was $536 million.
