Immutable Chain plans to upgrade to an OP Stack-based chain in 2027

Odaily reports that Immutable has announced that Immutable Chain plans to upgrade from a custom geth fork to an OP Stack-based chain in 2027. After the upgrade, on-chain transaction speeds will be faster, and the chain will establish a closer connection to Ethereum's security; all accounts, balances, and contracts will be migrated automatically, requiring virtually no action from users.
