User credentials exposed, Chainalysis takes monitoring and investigation platform offline and requires password resets

Odaily: Bitcoin News posted on X stating that Chainalysis reported hackers exploited "offensive agentic technology" to expose all users' names, usernames, password hashes, and valid tokens, with some customers' KYT accounts suspected of unauthorized access. Chainalysis has taken its transaction monitoring tool, address screening, and investigation platform offline, and is requiring all users to reset passwords and rotate API keys. Japanese exchange Coincheck suspended cryptocurrency withdrawals due to an external on-chain analytics service outage, and ICONOMI also suspended withdrawals citing issues with Chainalysis's services.
