About 380,000 customer email addresses leaked, Zaif says email service provider suffered unauthorized access
Odaily: Zaif has issued an announcement stating that its email service provider Arara suffered unauthorized external access, resulting in the leakage of approximately 380,000 registered customer email addresses, counted after deduplication. Zaif stated that the leaked information is limited to email addresses and does not include names, transaction information, or passwords; no intrusion was found in its own systems, and secondary damage such as asset loss has not yet been confirmed. Affected by the suspension of Arara's services, Zaif has suspended sending emails and reminds customers to be vigilant against phishing emails, not to click links or enter authentication information, and recommends switching to authentication apps for two-factor verification.
