Thai police obtain Shuffle fund flow data from 3 exchanges, have formed 80 special task forces

Odaily reports: Siriwat Deepho, Deputy Commissioner of the Thai Cyber Police, stated that police have received Shuffle.com-related fund flow data provided by 3 digital asset exchanges and have formed 80 special task forces, planning to first file cases against players within Thailand before investigating overseas operators.

At a parliamentary hearing on October 29, lawmakers said that Gulf Binance, which operates Binance TH, found that two wallets were linked to 44 individuals, with related funds flowing in and out of Shuffle through more than 400 transactions, amounting to approximately $113,000. Former Democrat Party lawmaker Sirichok Sopha stated that 4 of the 9 Thai digital asset operators have on-chain connections to Shuffle, but this does not mean the exchanges engaged in misconduct.

Thailand's Department of Special Investigation is assessing whether to classify Shuffle as a special case and plans to invite the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand to participate in the investigation. Thailand's Ministry of Digital Economy and Society said it blocked Shuffle.com nationwide on October 9. (Bitcoin.com News)
