ZachXBT: An EU entity suspected of being hacked for over $106 million, attackers are moving funds through cross-chain bridges and privacy coins
Odaily reports: On-chain detective ZachXBT issued a community alert based on his personal assessment, stating that an EU entity was suspected of being attacked on November 1, with multiple centralized exchange accounts compromised and losses exceeding $106 million. The attackers withdrew the stolen funds in the form of USDC and USDT.
According to monitoring, over the past 24 hours, the attackers have continued to convert USDC into ETH and transfer it to instant exchange platforms such as WellWallet and Kyrrex, then convert the funds into Monero (XMR) through Wagyu, while also using cross-chain bridges to move funds across multiple blockchain networks. ZachXBT has published 11 addresses involved in the incident and reminded the community to monitor the relevant fund flows.
