About $3.24 billion in stolen Binance assets remains in associated addresses, while $2.85 billion has been frozen or seized
Odaily reports: Blockchain analytics firm Elliptic stated that as of 15:30 Beijing time on November 2, approximately $3.24 billion of the stolen Binance assets remains in related addresses, primarily ETH and BTC; about $2.85 billion has been frozen or seized. Elliptic said the money laundering activity involved approximately 12,000 wallets across 11 blockchains and more than 40,000 transactions in less than four days. As of 14:02 that day, about 28 BTC had passed through 18 CoinJoin mixing transactions. The firm believes that only a very small portion of the funds may have been cashed out so far; on-chain signs indicate that the fund transfers used routine automation, but there is no evidence yet that AI agents participated in decision-making.
