Symbiosis detects funds linked to Binance security incident attempting to move through its protocol
Odaily reports: According to Symbiosis monitoring, the team discovered that someone was attempting to transfer funds related to Binance's recent security incident through its protocol. They are currently doing their best to block it and have contacted Binance. Symbiosis stated that as a decentralized protocol, its screening mechanisms are primarily designed for normal fund flows and have difficulty tracking fast and complex transfer activities. Some mechanisms have vulnerabilities, and the team is patching them one by one. If user funds are in a pending state or have been mistakenly returned, users can contact the team for handling. Previously, BlockSec analysis showed that some of the stolen TRX was cross-chain bridged to Ethereum through channels such as Symbiosis.
