Out-of-Bounds Pause, Resume on Price Recovery: Hyperliquid to Adjust TWAP Order Rules
Odaily reports: Jeff stated that Hyperliquid's next network upgrade will adjust the rules for TWAP orders with stop prices: when the price crosses the set boundary, the remaining execution plan will change from termination to pause; if the price meets the conditions again within the originally scheduled execution time, the order can resume execution, whereas previously a new order would need to be placed. The TWAP feature can split large orders into smaller ones and execute them gradually over a set period, currently supporting cycles from 5 minutes to 7 days, with a minimum order amount of $100. For example, when buying HYPE in batches over 2 hours with a maximum price set at $80, the order pauses when the mark price rises to $81; if the price falls back to $79 and it is still within the 2-hour window, the order can continue executing. The same rules apply when setting a minimum price for sell orders.
