88% of Large Enterprises Have Used or Piloted Tokenized Money, DBS Survey Shows

Odaily reports that DBS commissioned Ernst & Young to conduct a survey of 422 senior finance executives at large enterprises across 11 markets, all from companies with annual revenue exceeding $500 million. The survey shows that 88% of respondents have used or piloted tokenized money, with 24% having deployed it at scale, 43% having limited rollouts in some markets, and 21% in the pilot or proof-of-concept stage. Among the tools respondents use or plan to adopt, stablecoins account for 63%, tokenized deposits for 53%, and tokenized money market funds for 52%. 71% of respondents said real-time cross-border payments have improved or are expected to improve within two years; regulatory uncertainty, security risks, and system integration difficulties remain the main obstacles, and about 64% of respondents want banks to serve as a unified gateway into the tokenized money ecosystem.
